PGA Professional Bio – Jim Burns PGA
2022 marks Jim’s 33rd year in the golf business. Prior to joining Aquia Harbour Golf Club he was owner of The Stafford Golf Academy from 2009 to 2019 earning awards as a PGA Play Golf America Top 100 Performer. He has held positions at clubs in Massachusetts and Virginia as well as instructional positions in Key West, Florida and for ESPN Golf Schools. His ability to communicate the expertise necessary to develop players is what separates him from many instructors in the field. “It’s a coaching style” and one that players respond to and improve with. Develop as a player and improve your knowledge of the golf swing… make that personal commitment to improve!

Custom Club Fitting
Our PGA Professional is trained to provide you with the finest fitting experience
We will custom fit for driver, fairway, hybrid and irons. Product lines include: TaylorMade, Mizuno, Srixon and Cleveland.
We encourage you to optimize your performance by getting custom fit for your new equipment. Our fitting systems will provide the data necessary to get you the proper fit for length, lie, shaft and grip in your irons as well as shaft flex and shaft weight for your driver, fairway or hybrid.
All fitting sessions are by appointment.
CLUB REPAIR and Re-Gripping services are also available.
